Indoor Cycling is great for shedding fat, getting your heart rate up as well boosting your muscle endurance. It’s perfect if you are concerned with stubborn fat around the legs and hip area and helps to tighten and tone muscles in this area as well increasing circulation to help with concerns such a cellulite and skin colour and tone! Great at all times of year and here at Linear we have a well-ventilated loft studio that helps to keep you cool while you burn those calories!

Every participant has their own bike and we all cycle to music, the instructor will play an upbeat song for 5 minutes as you pedal as fast as you can to get your heart rate up and help boost your metabolism. Then they may play a slower tune while you catch your breath and pedal slowly. Classes normally last between 30-45 minutes.

Is there anyone who can’t do Indoor Cycling? Indoor Cycling Haywards Heath at Linear Health & Fitness

Apart from the normal contraindications such as heart conditions, pregnancy or long-term health conditions, Indoor Cycling is a low impact sport, there’s no pounding when you’re spinning. Your hip, knee and ankle joints are treated gently. However, if you do have any past or present injuries then please always let the instructor know.

Here at Linear Health & Fitness, we would recommend, to see a significant difference in your body shape and muscle tone, attending an Indoor Cycling class 3 times a week. However, Indoor Cycling only works your leg muscles, primarily your quads so if you want to tone up all over then we would recommend doing a variety of different exercise classes to work all the different muscles in your body and achieve a better overall result. If you have any specific questions about what exercises would be best for you and your body, you can always speak to one of our team of highly qualified and expert Personal Trainers.
