Indoor Cycling is mainly going to focus on the lower part of your body, primarily your leg and quad muscles. It will help to build up muscle tone in this year as well as shifting stubborn fat and cellulite due to the increased circulation and blood flow. In addition, our instructors will incorporate some standing movements on the bike which will target your core muscles.
When you cycle, you will be building up your leg muscles, and this helps support the knee joint. However, the standing and core work out may cause some stress to your knees so always let your instructor know if you think you need to adjust your level of intensity.

We always ensure that our class sizes are kept small enough so that you have as much as attention from your instructor as needed. So if you have a question then just ask, it’s what they are for! And if you don’t want to announce in front of the class that you are struggling, you can always speak to our instructors at the end of the class, they are always more than happy to help on your journey to fitness!

Unsure of what you need for an Indoor Cycling class? We would always recommend firstly wearing the appropriate clothing. A light t-shirt and joggers are great if you don’t have any fitness gear at home, however, there are endless options of leggings and sportswear, just as long as you are comfortable to do the class then that’s the most important thing! We would also recommend bringing a bottle of water, you will break a sweat! If you forget, no worries, we sell water and refreshments on site as well. In terms of footwear, a good supportive pair of trainers is best, ideally with a foam arch to support your knees and joints.
